There are 4 schemes available:
SMS (Women) - Since its inception in 1993, the SAF Merit Scholarship for Women is offered exclusively to a selected group of women with academic excellence and dynamic leadership qualities.

SMS (Combat) - You will study at renowned universities abroad or military academies such as the United States Military Academy at West Point, U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Naval Academy and the Australian Defence Force Academy, to name a few.Free Scholarship Search After completing your studies, you will serve in the SAF as a combat officer.

SMS (Psychology) - you will pursue your degree in psychology at renowned universities abroad. Once again, you will serve in the SAF as a combat officer and psychologist.

* Singapore citizens or permanent residents intending to take the citizenship
* GCE 'A' Level (with minimum of 11 academic units), International Baccalaureate, Polytechnic Diploma (with Merit) or equivalent
* Co-curricular activities Good (CCA) record
* The quality of strong leadership
* Qualify for and excel in Officer Cadet School
* Have a strong interest in military careers

Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowship Free Scholarship Search

The Free Scholarship Search aim is to support researchers in achieving a leading independent position, eg principal investigator, professor or other senior positions in education or enterprise.
Eligibility Criteria:

Free Scholarship Search Research programs will be integrated with training in accordance with Research Council specifications and accredited to the level of additional qualifications (Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma Masters level Research Training). Successful applicants will become members of the Graduate School and vibrant research community, supported by modern facilities of learning and development activities.

Each full-time UK / EU PhD scholarships will cover the cost of the 'home / EU' student rate and maintenance (£ 13,590 in 2011/12, depending on final confirmation) for three years, depending on satisfactory progress. Funding for conference attendance will also be available.

The international fee scholarships will cover the cost of full tuition for foreign students full-time for three years, depending on satisfactory progress.
